xTiles is $12.42 or $24.92 a month on a yearly plan: when is Plus enough, and who needs Pro?
xTiles keeps notes, tasks, a planner and projects in one workspace. Besides the free plan there are two paid plans, Plus and Pro, plus an Enterprise plan priced on request. The figures on the pricing page, $12.42 a month for Plus and $24.92 for Pro, are per user on yearly billing, so a year costs $149.04 or $299.04. With the toggle on Monthly, the same plans are $19 and $35. Plus is enough for one person running their own work and life in xTiles. Pro is for people who edit projects together in shared spaces, or whose projects have grown too big for Plus.
Monthly or yearly
Paying monthly for a full year would cost $228 on Plus and $420 on Pro. The yearly price works out to roughly 7.8 months of Plus or 8.5 months of Pro at the monthly rate. So if you expect to keep using xTiles for eight months or more (nine on Pro), pay for the year; if you need it to get one project over the line, stay monthly. Prices are in US dollars, and VAT may be added on top.

Plus also brings more than 100 premium templates, recurring tasks, linked pages, and premium widgets and covers. Pro comes with two 45-minute onboarding sessions with the xTiles team.
The last row of the table is the one that usually decides between Plus and Pro. On Free and Plus, you can edit a project as long as it stays under 1,000 items and has no more than three members. A person planning their own weeks will seldom come near that. A team of four working in one project is already past it, and Pro is also the plan that lets you edit inside shared workspaces.
Is the free plan enough?
To find out whether xTiles suits you, yes. Pages and projects are unlimited on every plan, Free included, so you can build your real setup before paying anything. If, after a few weeks, the two-week planner history and the upload limit haven't got in your way, you can stay on Free.
Refunds, cancelling and upgrading
A monthly subscription can be refunded in full within 72 hours of payment, and a yearly one within 30 days. Plans bought at a promotional or discounted price are not refundable. Subscriptions renew automatically; to stop, go to Account Settings, open Plans and choose "Downgrade to free plan". You keep the paid features until the end of the period you have paid for.
If you start on yearly Plus and later need Pro, you can upgrade and pay only the difference, which xTiles works out for you. This is available from yearly plans only, and switching from yearly to monthly with the remaining balance carried over is not supported.
Student, educator and non-profit prices
Students and educators get 50% off Plus for one year, and non-profit organisations get 50% off for one year. Students apply through the form on the pricing page or through Studentdiscount.com or OnTheHub; educators write to support@xtiles.app. Because these are discounted plans, the refund rules above do not apply to them.
