Pi (Presentation Intelligence) Pro is $19.90 a month or $168 a year: what do you get over the free plan?
Presentation Intelligence, or Pi as it calls itself, builds slide decks and interactive documents from notes, PDFs, web pages, images, videos or data. There is a free plan and three paid ones, Pro, Max and Studio. For most people the real choice is between Free and Pro, and it usually comes down to one thing: whether you need to take the finished deck out of Pi as a file.
What the paid plans cost
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Yearly, per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $19.90 | $168 | $14 |
| Max | $39.90 | $336 | $28 |
| Studio | $99.90 | $888 | $74 |

These are the prices on the pricing page in US dollars, with the toggle set to Monthly and then Yearly. Twelve months of monthly billing comes to $238.80 on Pro, so the yearly plan works out to about 8.4 months' worth. It is close to that on Max and just under nine months on Studio. If you expect to still be using Pi nine months from now, pay for the year. For one talk or a short project, stay monthly and cancel once it's done.

Custom theme templates and uploading your own fonts are on every plan, Free included, so you can try Pi with your own look from day one.
How far the free plan gets you
You can earn more points by inviting friends, logging in daily and sharing documents. That is plenty to see whether Pi's layouts suit the way you present. Your remaining balance shows on the Charge page once you are signed in.
Max and Studio
Max and Studio list the same features as Pro. If you're thinking of moving up, support@pi.inc can tell you how many credits a month each one comes with.
Payment, cancelling and teams
Pi takes all major credit cards through Stripe. Plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year. You can cancel at any time by following the instructions in your purchase confirmation email or by writing to support@pi.inc, and the plan keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for. Payment for a period that has already started isn't refunded.
Each plan is for one person. Colleagues can work on the same deck by sharing it or editing it together, and teams that need more than that are asked to contact support@pi.inc.
