Vista Social at $99 or $80 a month: which plan does your team need?

The conclusion first
Vista Social is a social media management tool: you connect your brand's accounts (a Facebook page, an Instagram business profile, a LinkedIn page and so on) and schedule posts, answer messages and read reports from one place. It publishes three plans. Professional is $99 a month for 15 social profiles and 2 users, Advanced is $199 for 30 profiles and 3 users, and Scale is $449 for 70 profiles and 4 users. Annual billing costs about 20% less ($950, $1,910 and $4,310 a year) and is charged for the full year in advance. The number that decides your plan is usually the number of people who need their own login: the pricing table lists extra users and extra profiles as not available on Professional or Advanced, so a third user means Advanced and a fourth means Scale.
What each plan costs, and what the price is really for
| Plan | Month to month | Annual, charged up front | Profiles | Users | How to read it |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Professional | $99 a month | $950 a year (about $80 a month) | 15 | 2 | $49.50 a user a month on monthly billing |
| Advanced | $199 a month | $1,910 a year (about $160 a month) | 30 | 3 | $100 more a month than Professional for one more user and 15 more profiles |
| Scale | $449 a month | $4,310 a year (about $360 a month) | 70 | 4 | $250 more a month than Advanced for one more user and 40 more profiles |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Customizable | Customizable | Priced on request |

These are the figures on the pricing page, in US dollars; the terms say taxes are added. On a per-profile basis the three plans cost almost the same, about $6.40 to $6.60 a profile a month ($99 ÷ 15 = $6.60; $199 ÷ 30 = $6.63; $449 ÷ 70 = $6.41). Per user, they diverge: $49.50, $66.33 and $112.25 a month. The comparison table marks "Extra profiles" and "Extra Users" as not included on Professional and Advanced and "Customizable" on Scale, without a published price. So a team of three people with ten profiles still needs Advanced, and a team of five needs Scale plus an extra user priced by Vista Social, or Enterprise.
One point to confirm during the trial: the FAQ on the same page says the Professional plan "comes with 3 users" and Advanced "comes with 6 users", while the plan cards and the comparison table say 2 and 3. The plan cards are the figures used above; check the user count on your plan before you buy.
Annual or monthly: the ten-month line
Annual billing saves exactly 20% on each plan: $1,188 against $950 on Professional (12 × $99), $2,388 against $1,910 on Advanced, and $5,388 against $4,310 on Scale. Under section 4.2.2 of the terms of service (effective December 1, 2025), the annual fee is charged for the full year in advance, and the page's FAQ adds that plans paid in several installments do not get the same discount. Annual pays off only if you would otherwise keep the plan for about ten months: nine monthly payments of Professional come to $891, less than $950, and ten come to $990, more ($950 ÷ $99 = 9.6). Advanced and Scale cross at the same point ($1,910 ÷ $199 = 9.6; $4,310 ÷ $449 = 9.6).
Professional, total paid by months of use (USD)

The renewal rules are the other half of the decision. Monthly plans renew each month until canceled (section 4.2.1). Annual plans renew for another year unless canceled at least 30 days before the renewal date (4.2.2). At renewal, annual prices may rise by up to 7% unless Vista Social gives at least 60 days' notice of a larger increase; monthly prices can change with 30 days' notice (4.4). If you choose annual, put a reminder in your calendar five weeks before the renewal date.
What the add-ons add to the bill
Three add-ons are priced separately on every plan. X (Twitter) is $29 a month for publishing, boosting, automations and analytics on X. Listening is free for your own profiles and $75 a month to listen across social networks, the web and news. Employee Advocacy is free to try and $199 a month for 25 employees. If X is one of your channels, Professional costs $128 a month on monthly billing ($99 + $29), or $1,298 for a first year on annual billing if X stays at $29 a month (12 × $29 = $348 for X; $950 + $348 = $1,298). The pricing page does not say whether add-ons get the annual discount; check the total at checkout.
What you give up on Professional
The comparison table lists features that start at Advanced: country targeting for posts, multi-stage approval workflows, custom reports, integrations with Zapier, Make and Slack, a custom domain for the Vista Page link-in-bio tool, and the AI content repository. Scale adds white label setup, a link that lets clients connect their own profiles, and syncing your website and Zendesk help center into the AI knowledge base. Single sign-on, sentiment analysis and brand safety tools appear only on Enterprise. If your team needs a second approver before a post goes out, that single feature moves you from $99 to $199 a month.
Canceling, downgrading and your content
The trial is 14 days with no credit card, and you can subscribe on a monthly or annual plan during or after it, according to the pricing page FAQ. After that, the terms set these rules. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; you keep access until the end of the current billing period, and there are no refunds for the unused part (4.2.3). All fees are non-refundable except where the terms say otherwise (4.1). Upgrading charges the prorated difference for the rest of the billing cycle (4.5.1). Downgrading takes effect at the end of the cycle, with no refund or credit, and may remove features, capacity or content (4.5.2 and 4.5.3). After termination, Vista Social may delete your account and content within 30 days, and exporting your content first is your responsibility (12.4.3).
Who should not buy a plan yet
If you are one person posting to a handful of accounts and have not used a scheduling tool before, use the 14-day trial before paying; it needs no card. If you need five or more people with their own logins, the published plans stop at four users, so ask Vista Social for a Scale or Enterprise quote before comparing prices. And if you are a US nonprofit, the FAQ says special pricing is available on Professional and Advanced; ask for it before you pay the list price.
What to actually do
Count the people who need their own login and the social profiles you will connect. One or two people with up to 15 profiles: Professional, at $99 a month. Three people, or more than 15 profiles, or a need for approvals or Zapier: Advanced, at $199. Four people, or more than 30 profiles: Scale, at $449. Add $29 a month if you publish to X. Start on monthly billing, and switch to annual only once you are sure you will keep the plan for ten months or more; annual is charged up front and renews unless you cancel 30 days before the date.
