How this site is meant to make money

By referral fees from providers when a reader signs up after following a link from here. The reader pays the same price either way; the provider pays us out of its own marketing budget.

The conflict of interest, stated plainly

In this market the money is in the lead, not the link. Sites that collect your phone number and sell it to suppliers earn far more than sites that publish prices. That is precisely the model this site refuses, and you should hold us to it: if a quote form ever appears here, the incentive behind everything else on the site has changed.

What we do about the ordinary affiliate conflict is structural: every ordering on this site is by computed cost per seat, ascending, and nothing else. There is no score we could quietly weight. 29 of the 37 providers listed here have no affiliate relationship with us at all, and they are ordered by the same rule as the rest. The method page gives the sort key in full.

How links are labeled

A link that earns us a fee carries rel="sponsored nofollow". A link that does not carries rel="nofollow" only and is marked Unpaid link. Source and citation links are never marked sponsored, because they are not commercial.

Placement is not for sale

No provider has paid, or can pay, to appear on this site, to be ordered above another provider, or to have anything about it removed. We do not sell listings, badges, awards, sponsored posts or leads.

The sort key that replaces editorial judgment is on the method page; the full dataset with every source URL is at data.json, and the provider list shows which providers publish a price at all. What a quote form is for explains the business model this site refuses.
