Free plans, and what you pay once the free period ends
A plan that is free for a fixed number of months has no single three-year seat cost, so it is not in the ordering above. Putting one in would place a plan you cannot keep for three years at the top of a three-year table. What the provider publishes about it is here instead.

A free plan is not a free phone system. Numbers, calling minutes and taxes are charged separately, and the last column is the published price of the plan you move to, not the bill.
Sharing the answer you got
Copy the link to this result puts your seat count, market and type into the address, so the person you send it to opens the same table rather than the default ten seats. Nothing else travels with it: the calculation happens in the browser and nothing you type is sent to us.
Saving it for next time
Save this comparison in this browser keeps the seat count, market, type and the providers you ticked in this browser's own storage, with the date. Nothing goes to us. When you come back, the top of this page lists every change this site recorded for those providers after that date, with the old value, the new one and whether it was the provider changing its page or us correcting a figure. Mark as seen moves the date forward; Forget it clears the lot.
If you know when your current contract renews, put the date in and Reminder 30 days before renewal gives you a calendar file (.ics) for that day, holding the link to this comparison and nothing else. Most renewals need notice, so that is the last comfortable day to re-check the table.
Why the ranking moves
Two things move it. A minimum seat count makes a plan expensive per seat for a small team and irrelevant once you are past the minimum. And an advertised price that only applies on annual billing is not the price a business paying monthly will see. The calculator uses the published seat price and the published minimum, and nothing else.

If you are choosing on call quality, support or a specific integration, this tool has nothing to say to you. It compares published prices, and it does not know whether any of these providers is any good.
