Which monday CRM plan lets you send email from the CRM, and what does it cost a small sales team?

Verified 28 September 2026 · SaaS COMPASS

Summary

Connecting Gmail or Outlook and sending email from inside monday CRM starts on Standard, at $17 per seat per month billed annually. Mass emails, automated sequences, and open tracking need Pro at $28. A four-person sales team is billed for five seats, so the year costs $1,020 on Standard and $1,680 on Pro.

What four salespeople pay

monday CRM's paid plans start at three seats and then move in blocks of five, so four people buy five seats. On annual billing, in US dollars before tax:

  • Basic: $12 × 5 × 12 = $720
  • Standard: $17 × 5 × 12 = $1,020
  • Pro: $28 × 5 × 12 = $1,680
  • Ultimate, which monday.com says is the new name for Enterprise: quoted by sales

Going from Standard to Pro adds $660 a year.

Which email features sit on which plan

Basic has no email connection. The Emails & Activities feature, which links a Gmail or Outlook account so reps can send and receive from a contact's record, is listed for Standard, Pro, and Ultimate. Messages go out through your own email provider's servers.

Standard gives you that connection and the "centralized comms hub," a single timeline of every email, call, meeting, and note for each person. What it does not give you is tracking. A rep on Standard can send a proposal from the CRM but cannot see whether the client opened it.

Pro adds open tracking on individual emails, mass emails with delivery and open rates, and sequences that send a series of emails automatically. The help center caps mass email at 500 recipients per send and 2,000 emails a day, and Gmail or Outlook may set tighter limits of their own. Email templates and HTML cannot be used inside sequences.

Newsletters to large lists belong to monday campaigns, a separate product billed by the number of contacts instead of seats.

The Basic limits that show up before email does

Basic tops out at 1,000 active contacts and deals, five columns per board, 20 quotes and invoices a month, and one dashboard. Standard raises those to 10,000 contacts and deals, 15 columns, 50 quotes and invoices, and five dashboards. A deal board with columns for value, stage, owner, next follow-up date, lead source, and industry is already one column over the Basic limit, whatever you decide about email. How monday CRM Standard stacks up against HubSpot Starter depends mostly on whether your marketing contacts pass 1,000, which our HubSpot vs. monday.com comparison works through.
