Where does Comcast Business actually publish its phone prices?
Summary
Not on the product pages. Voice Mobility and VoiceEdge both send you to an address check or a quote form. The prices sit in Comcast's state and regional price lists for Comcast Business Voice Service, which are PDFs. California's list, effective September 1, 2026, puts a Mobility Line at $64.95 a month on its own and $44.95 with another qualifying Comcast service, and a VoiceEdge seat at $44.95 in the 1 to 9 seat tier.
Two products, two kinds of buyer
Comcast's phone hub lists Voice Mobility, VoiceEdge, PRI and SIP trunks, and Comcast Business Mobile. Small and midsize companies usually end up choosing between the first two.
Voice Mobility is sold by the line. It comes with unlimited nationwide calling, hunt groups, and Be Anywhere, which shows the business number on caller ID when staff call from a mobile phone. You can order up to 8 lines online, and Comcast says up to 24 on request. Readable Voicemail is added at checkout.
VoiceEdge is a hosted PBX that Comcast pitches at "high-growth companies with 8+ employees and multiple sites." Auto attendants, four hunt group patterns, a 100-person audio bridge, and desktop and mobile apps are included. Call queue agents and a receptionist console cost extra each month. Phones are leased, and the fine print says phones carry an additional monthly fee, that equipment, taxes, and the regulatory recovery fee are extra, and that calling, including 911, may not work during a power outage or network problem.
What the California list says
Most states have one statewide list. Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington are split into regions. The California rows open to new customers include:
- Mobility Line, single-product: $64.95 a month
- Mobility Line, multi-product: $44.95 a month
- Basic Line, local calling and caller ID only: $24.95 a month
- VoiceEdge Unified Communication Seat: $44.95 for 1 to 9 seats, $39.95 for 10 to 19, $34.95 for 20 or more
- VoiceEdge Basic Seat: $24.95 a month
- Voicemail: $5 per line a month
"Multi-product" means you hold a separate subscription to a qualifying Comcast core service, and the discount lasts only while you keep all the specified products.
Two rows you may see quoted elsewhere are closed. The Full Featured Line ($64.45 single-product, $44.45 multi-product) was grandfathered on June 23, 2021, and the $29.95 rate for a fourth Mobility Line and beyond was grandfathered on December 10, 2019.
Charges below the line
The same list shows a $27.95 monthly equipment fee for Voice Service, a $14.95 equipment fee for VoiceEdge, standard installation of up to $199.95, and $99.95 for a repair visit. California adds a CA Public Purpose Fund charge of $1.05 per line per month and a 1.8% state PUC recovery fee. Comcast states that the listed prices do not include federal, state, or local regulatory fees, taxes, or surcharges.
Three multi-product Mobility Lines with voicemail come to ($44.95 + $5) x 3 = $149.85 a month on paper. Equipment, state charges, taxes, and the one-time installation all sit on top of that.
The multi-product rate is voice only
This is where comparisons with per-user cloud phone plans go wrong. The price list notes that its rates cover the voice component only, so the $44.95 figure assumes you are already paying Comcast separately for internet. Residential Xfinity Voice runs on its own price lists, and none of its numbers carry over to the business lists.
