Does one monday.com subscription cover all its products, or do you pay for each one?
Summary
You pay for each one. monday.com sells work management, CRM, dev, and service as standalone products with their own plans and prices, and monday campaigns, its email marketing product, is priced by the number of contacts instead of seats. A 10-person company that runs its projects on work management Standard and gives its five salespeople monday CRM Standard pays $1,440 plus $1,020 a year, or $2,460 in total.
Five products, five price lists
monday.com's own support article puts it plainly: "Each of our products is individually priced based on the features and functionality available." They share one platform underneath, but you pick a plan and a seat count for each product you buy. Starting prices, per seat per month on annual billing, in US dollars before tax:
- work management (projects and tasks): Basic at $9. This is the only product with a free plan, which covers up to two seats.
- monday CRM (sales pipelines and customer records): Basic at $12. Its top tier is called Ultimate, which monday.com says is the new name for Enterprise.
- monday dev (sprints, roadmaps, and releases for software teams): Basic at $9.
- monday service (IT and customer support tickets): Standard at $31. There is no Basic plan.
- monday campaigns (email marketing): Pro at $50 a month billed annually, which includes up to 2,000 marketing contacts. It is billed by contacts, not seats.
Paid seat counts start at three and then go up in blocks of five, so a team of four buys five seats. Our guide to how vendors define a seat covers that rule in detail.
What a two-product setup costs
Take a 10-person company where everyone tracks work in work management and five people also sell:
- work management Standard, 10 seats: $12 × 10 × 12 = $1,440 a year
- monday CRM Standard, 5 seats: $17 × 5 × 12 = $1,020 a year
That is $2,460 a year. Adding monday campaigns Pro at the 2,000-contact level puts another $600 on top, for $3,060. monday.com mentions a bundle for teams buying CRM and campaigns together, but no bundle price appears on its public pages.
The rules when you bundle
You can run several products on one account, and each can sit on a different plan with a different number of seats. The billing cycle has to match, though: every product is monthly, or every product is yearly. On Enterprise, every bundled product must be on the Enterprise plan, with a minimum term of 12 months. A free trial gives you 14 days of the Pro plan on the product you chose, and it cannot be extended.
One naming quirk: the site's product menu says "monday work management," while the support article on plans calls the same product "monday AI work platform." Same product, same price list.
