How much does monday dev cost once your team needs sprints and GitHub sync?
Summary
Sprint management with story points and two-way GitHub sync both start on Standard, at $12 per seat per month billed annually. An 8-person team has to buy 10 seats, so Standard comes to $1,440 a year. If you also want epics, a roadmap that spans several teams, or built-in agile reports, you are on Pro at $20 a seat, or $2,400 a year for the same team.

"No" and "Not listed" mean the feature does not appear in that plan's list on the pricing page. Basic is described as a plan to "plan and manage your team's Scrum processes," yet sprint management with story points is listed as a Standard feature. Basic does come with development templates, unlimited items and docs, free viewers, capacity planning, and AI features for daily stand-ups and sprint summaries. Pro also adds time tracking, private boards, and a place to collect customer feature requests.
What an 8-person team pays
monday.com sells paid seats in blocks: three to start, then multiples of five. Eight developers means 10 seats.
- Basic: $9 × 10 × 12 = $1,080 a year
- Standard: $12 × 10 × 12 = $1,440 a year
- Pro: $20 × 10 × 12 = $2,400 a year
The jump from Standard to Pro is $960 a year. Annual billing is 18% cheaper than monthly, and the whole year is charged up front.
GitLab, Jira, and the rest
The product page FAQ says monday dev connects to GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Slack, Jira, Figma, and Azure DevOps. Only GitHub is named in a plan description on the pricing page, so the plan each of the others needs is not stated.
Two answers on AI
The pricing page lists AI credits and an AI sprint summary from Basic up. The help article "Using AI in monday dev" says its features are available on Pro and Enterprise, for users whose admins have turned AI on. The dev pricing page does not say how many AI credits each plan includes.
