How much does Cisco Webex Calling cost per user, and what comes with it?

Summary

Webex Call, Cisco's U.S. calling plan, costs $183.60 per user per year, or $15.30 a month. That covers a business phone number, unlimited domestic calling, an auto attendant, and extensions, with international calls billed by the minute. Webex Suite adds full meetings for $270 a year ($22.50 a month), and Webex Enterprise is sold through sales with no listed price.

The three paid plans

PlanPrice per userWhat it adds
Webex Call$183.60/year ($15.30/month)Calls to any phone number from the Webex app or Cisco IP phones, unlimited domestic calling, per-minute international calling, Phone Menu (auto attendant), extensions, business phone number
Webex Suite (Meet + Call)$270/year ($22.50/month)AI Assistant, meetings up to 24 hours and 200 attendees, 10 GB of AI-powered cloud recording, closed captions
Webex Enterprise"Let's talk"Up to 1,000 attendees, local and unlimited cloud recording, FedRAMP authorized security

Webex Call also carries over everything in the free plan, including advanced noise cancellation, and adds cohost privileges and Vidcast for recorded video messages. Cisco's FAQ lists call waiting, forwarding, hold, transfer, and visual voicemail as part of the Call plan.

The step from Call to Suite is $86.40 per user per year. For a company already paying for a separate meetings service, that is the number to hold against the existing bill.

Where the free plan stops

Webex Free costs $0 and allows meetings of up to 40 minutes with 100 attendees. The FAQ says Basic and Meet plans can call anyone with a Webex account. Calling ordinary phone numbers and getting a business number start with Webex Call.

Paid plans can be canceled at any time from the account portal. If you downgrade partway through a billing period, the current plan stays active until that period ends. Cisco takes credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay.

Connecting each office to the phone network

For organization-wide deployments, Cisco's admin help describes three ways a location can reach the public phone network (PSTN):

  1. Cisco PSTN, a bundle for ordering new numbers and porting existing ones to Cisco. It requires a purchased and enabled Cisco Calling Plan and a country where that plan is supported.
  2. Cloud Connected PSTN, a certified provider's cloud service with no local hardware.
  3. Premises-based PSTN through a Local Gateway, which keeps your current phone carrier.

The two cloud options serve Webex Calling users only. A company that still has an on-premises phone system sharing the same outside lines connects it through the Local Gateway route.
