What happens to Avaya Cloud Office customers now that the service redirects to RingCentral?
Summary
They become RingCentral customers. On its second-quarter 2026 earnings call in July, RingCentral said existing Avaya Cloud Office (ACO) customers and partners "will transition to the RingCentral platform and brand directly," and both ACO pages on avaya.com already redirect to RingCentral's RingEX page. Everything still sold under the Avaya name, from Aura Private Cloud on Microsoft Azure to the on-premises IP Office, is quote-only.
The redirect
ACO was a per-user cloud phone service built on RingCentral's platform and sold under Avaya's brand. Today avaya.com/en/products/cloud-office/ and its pricing page both send visitors to ringcentral.com/ringex.html, a page that never mentions Avaya. ACO is also gone from Avaya's product list, so there is no current ACO price sheet to budget from.
What RingCentral said
RingCentral described the change on the July 2026 call as a restructuring meant to simplify the customer experience and align with each company's strategy. It stays Avaya's exclusive multi-tenant cloud UCaaS offering, meaning a shared cloud service for calling, meetings, and messaging. The company said it looks forward to serving the ACO community under the RingCentral brand and working with those customers directly.
RingEX prices ACO customers will see
RingCentral's pricing page, with the 1 to 5 user band selected, shows:
- Core: $20 per user per month paid annually, $30 paid monthly. Unlimited domestic calling, on-demand call recording, 100 toll-free minutes, 25 SMS per user per month.
- Advanced: $25 annually, $35 monthly. Adds CRM integrations and multi-site connections, with 1,000 toll-free minutes and 100 SMS per user per month.
- AI Customer Engagement Bundle with AIR: contact sales for pricing.
The Ultra tier that used to sit at the top of the page no longer appears. RingCentral says paying annually saves up to 33%.
What Avaya still sells
Avaya's product list now splits into three unified-communications products and two customer-facing ones.
| Product | How it runs | Avaya's description |
|---|---|---|
| Aura Private Cloud | Dedicated instance of Microsoft Azure | Large enterprises and government, no user-count limit, pay-per-user pricing |
| Aura | On premises | Private system for voice, video, and messaging |
| IP Office | On premises | Communications for small and mid-sized businesses |
| Infinity | Enterprise CX platform | Phone, chat, email, and social in one platform |
| Government Cloud | Dedicated public-sector cloud | FedRAMP authorized |
None of the five shows a price. A small business that wants a per-user cloud phone plan with Avaya's name on it has no such product to choose from.
